Tubular Balance Suspension/Table

Tubular Balance is the new member of the "Tubular" luminaire family by designer Sebastian Hepting. The Tubular Balance is a hybrid between a pendant and a table lamp and can be connected to a socket without a ceiling outlet. With its length of 125 cm, the table version of the filigree tubular glass luminaire illuminates a particularly wide area - ideal for desk work or as office lighting. The glass tube is attached to the ceiling by a thin cord and in the new version is combined with a luminaire base for the first time. The base acts as a counterweight via a pull cord, keeping the transparent glass tube suspended. For the design, Sebastian Hepting chose an unprocessed tube of borosilicate glass in which numerous LED light points are strung together like a string of pearls. A coloured textile cable loosely wraps around the glass tube and creates an exciting contrast to the linear character of the luminaire. Customers can choose between red and white for the colour of the textile cable. For larger quantities, special colours are available on request: the luminaire can be individualised and can be combined with different coloured cables on request. The infinitely dimmable glass luminaire provides atmospheric light both in the private sphere and for professional use - whether as table lighting at home, in the kitchen, in restaurants, above a bar, in hotels or boutiques. Puro is a boldly minimalistic variation on atmospheric pendant lights. Inspiration for the collection and its name come from the Spanish word for “cigar”, which also means “puro” and is a reference to the composition’s clean lines. The design creates an intriguing interplay between horizontal and vertical luminous cigar tubes levitating in space above simple bell lights. The diffused glow of the tubes combines with that of the bells to elicit a dynamic ambience, while the alternating gloss and matte finishes provide a degree of provocation. Modern yet timeless. Extravagant in its style and use of clean geometric forms. Inspired by architecture. The Overlay collection arose from a synthesis of various materials on mood boards during a creative process that involved seeking ideas and associations between art and design, overlaying different textures, and playing with volumes. The blown transparent glass tubes instil the Overlay collection with a distinctive character, as does the unique concrete fixture embedded with shards of upcycled glass from Janštejn Glassworks. The piece is cast in different rectangular volumes specifically for each type of light capable of accommodating both simple and multiple compositions. Cradled within the concrete fixture is a delicate sleeve of either frosted or clear glass, its centreline struck by a light tube that seemingly levitates within. Axi Horizontal Suspension

Axi is the first series designed by French designer Patrick Jouin for Italamp: a Murano glass collection where technology and tradition, experimentation and centuries-old know-how in glass manipulation coexist. Axi is a suspension with a "retro-futurist" aesthetic, composed of a tubular structure made of white borosilicate glass that contains an LED light source, interspersed with metal elements from which extend arms onto which colored art glass elements are attached, gravitating around the central element. These elements have an arched, textured surface that filters light with plays of transparency and refraction. Envisioned by the designer as "a sculpture in space and a functional object," Axi ideally reproduces the rotational motion of a satellite around a planet, which in turn moves around its axis. This wall/suspension light collection by designers Dominique Perrault & Gaelle Lauriot-Prevost comprises strong tubular forms that come in several lengths, diameters and colours. The fixture is made of borosilicate glass and encased with aluminum stoppers, with mountings available that allow the In The Tube 120-1300 fixture to be used as a suspended pendant, or a wall sconce in either a horizontal or vertical configuration. The lamp diffuses a soft, filtered light that can be manipulated by the adjustable mesh filter or by a reflector, determining the colour of light projected. Tubular Suspension

Tubular by Sebastian Hepting for Ingo Maurer is a multifunctional glass luminaire. Lighting designer Sebastian Hepting uses an unprocessed tube of borosilicate glass. The glass tube can be rotated through 360° and can be used as downlight, uplight or wallwasher. With red diffusor and red cable or with white diffusor and blue cable. Other cables can be connected by electricians. Open, fire-polished ends emphasize the puristic design and their handcrafted character. While the suspension of the tube consists almost invisibly of a thin wire, the other end is softly embedded in a textile loop. Inside, a filigree-looking construction of lamella reflects the light in all directions. The light source is invisibly hidden behind the luminous structure. Thanks to its versatility, the pendant lamp "Tubular" is suitable for various purposes and rooms - whether as table lighting at home, in restaurants, above a bar, in the kitchen, at the reception or in the office.
