Prices listed on LightFormShop.com are public prices, and can be displayed in either Canadian or US dollars by selecting the desired currency toggle at the top of the page. All duties and brokerage are included in the public price. Prices do not include shipping, if it is to be charged. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Due to the wide variety of locations we ship to, all prices displayed on our website and on written quotes are the item price without taxes. All relevant taxes, including (but not limited to) state, provincial, federal, or harmonized taxes, will be shown as a separate line item on quotes or at checkout online.
For non-website quotations provided through LightForm Sales and Quotations Teams, prices remain valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of written quotation.
If an item on the Quote is listed as ON SALE, sale pricing is only valid for the duration of the sale period. Please check our website for sale end dates or ask your LightForm rep.
If the product you have purchased goes on sale at a future date, we cannot extend the sale pricing to your past purchase. LightForm and its manufacturers reserve the right to change sale pricing at any time without notice.
Sale pricing does not apply to contract projects wherein there are quantities of six (6) or more of a single item. Please see our Trade Program page or contact us directly for project pricing. Trade Pricing cannot be combined with Sale Pricing or with any promotional codes unless otherwise noted.
Low Price Guarantee
LightForm is pleased to offer a Low Price Guarantee so you can be confident you’re buying the product at the best possible price. Prior to placing your order, if you find the exact same product advertised for a lower Total Price anywhere within either Canada or the USA, let us know and we will match that price at our discretion. The Total Price is the price after shipping fees, local taxes, duties and brokerage, as well as any other charges that competitors may include in the price. For example, if LightFormShop offers free shipping on an item and the competitor charges for shipping, the Total Price that we match includes shipping. We will require some form of verification of the offer and it must be made by an Authorized Dealer of the product, following manufacturer pricing guidelines and policies, and it must be a stock item.
Our Low-Price Guarantee excludes Trade Pricing, Clearance, and Sale items.
LightForm works closely with its manufacturers to ensure all products sold by LightForm are suitable for the North American market. Product certifications can be found under the "Specifications" tab on each product webpage. General certification guidelines can be found in our FAQ, but your best resource for understanding certifications and your local requirements for certifications is your local electrical contractor.
Items are either certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) or Intertek (ETL). Items marked cUL/cULus or cETL/cETLus have been certified for Canada and/or the US. Items marked Not UL/ETL will be delivered without North American certification and will often be delivered with international parts and components not compatible with North American certification listing requirements. In these instances the Customer is responsible for any modifications required for installation.
LightForm is pleased to offer limited certification services for purchases intended for installation in North America. To obtain certification on items marked "Certification on Request," you may contact us for a quote for certification in Canada and the USA. In such cases, shop charges and additional delivery charges will be provided in the quote. Please direct certification requests to your LightForm Rep or firstname.lastname@example.org. Naturally, certification requests will add to time necessary for delivery of the item(s). We will attempt to offer you an approximate lead time, but courier availability and delivery times to and from our certification lab are variable.
If you are considering purchasing an item that is Not UL/ETL, we recommend you consult with your local electrician prior to purchasing. Please ensure that your light of choice is compatible with your project's existing electrical infrastructure. LightForm is not liable for any losses sustained due to the installation of items not certified or installed without the help of a professional electrical contractor.
Placing an Order
LightForm reserves the right to accept or reject any individual order for any reason.
Please confirm the accuracy of all items, finishes, sizes, etc. prior to placing your order.
Customizations: to customize your fixture, or for items that do not display a price (usually due to extensive customizability of the item), please contact your LightForm Rep or email@example.com for a quote including availability, estimated lead time, and price.
Please ensure that you check the "Notes" tab on the webpages of the items you are considering for purchase, as they contain important product information.
Accessories are not sold separately online. If you wish to purchase accessories for a light you have already purchased from LightForm, please contact your LightForm Rep or firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may discuss your needs.
We do our best to give you the best possible idea of what the finish options of every light are. The limits of backlit digital displays as well as the impossibility of compensating for users' personal display preferences complicate this issue. For cases in which a precise finish assessment is necessary, we maintain up-to-date finish swatch collections in our showrooms for our customers' convenience. For projects, we can often obtain a product sample. Please contact us prior to purchase to see if we have a finish swatch for your desired lighting fixture.
If LightForm furnishes the buyer with advice or other assistance concerning products, the furnishing of such advice shall not subject LightForm, its owners, or its employees to any liability, whether it be contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), or otherwise.
Custom Orders: All non-website orders requiring custom finishes and/or custom modifications require a 50% non-refundable deposit regardless of credit terms extended. All orders of standard products in excess of $10,000 value require a 50% deposit. Order returns and cancellations are not allowed.
Cancellations and/or Changes to Orders
Orders cannot be cancelled or changed without LightForm’s written consent.
Please check your Order Confirmation carefully, as you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your product selections as noted on the Order Confirmation. If you notice a discrepancy or error on your Order Confirmation Email or Sales Order, please email CustomerService@lightform.ca or your LightForm rep within 24hrs. LightForm is not responsible for any errors or omissions on the Order Confirmation or Sales Order. If notified after 24hrs, LightForm cannot guarantee our ability to correct any such discrepancies.
It is not possible to change or cancel an order once you have received your Order Confirmation Email or Sales Order from LightForm.
Payment & Credit
For website orders, LightForm accepts MasterCard, Visa, and PayPal. For orders not originating from our website, we also accept ACH, EFT, and email transfers (email@example.com).
All orders must be prepaid at time of purchase unless other terms have been extended.
If you are working on a project with large quantities, we suggest you contact our Trade Team (ProjectQuotes@lightform.ca) to inquire about project pricing and extended payment terms.
For non-website orders, all invoices are to be paid to LightForm Canada Inc. All sales are made on a cash basis unless credit is extended. LightForm may extend credit if, in the company’s sole opinion, the buyer meets its credit standards based on a review of up-to-date financial information. If credit is extended, the terms of payment are thirty (30) days net from the date of the invoice. An interest at a rate of 1.5% per month will be charged on all overdue amounts.

For website orders, LightForm is pleased to offer free ground shipping on most website retail orders over $100. If the product qualifies for free shipping you will be notified in the Checkout.
Free shipping may not apply to:
- Clearance items
- Sale items
- Oversized or overweight items (if an item is deemed oversized/overweight a shipping charge will appear in your Checkout)
Shipping and Handling fees will apply to non-website orders and are indicated on your Sales Order as a separate line item.
Additional shipping fees may apply to orders outside Canada or the continental USA, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. For international orders, please call us or email InternationalOrders@lightform.ca for shipping estimates.

"Ships In” and “Lead Time” are estimates provided by the manufacturer that refer to the anticipated amount of time the manufacturer requires to make an item and/or have it ready for shipping from their workshop or warehouse based on normal conditions. Please allow for extra Delivery Time.
Shipping Method: in an effort to offer the best shipping experience available at any given time, LightForm and its manufacturers deal with a wide range of logistics companies. LightForm and its manufacturers will ship by the method of shipping they deem best based upon convenience, experience, and cost. Fragile product might be shipped via ocean freight instead of air freight for safety and stability reasons, which can add up to four (4) weeks of additional shipping time. LightForm is not responsible for any delays caused by strikes, blockades, and other variables beyond our control.
For non-website orders LightForm reserves the right to make partial shipments of your order. Any and all shipping costs will be charged against the first shipment. We will ship and invoice products as ready unless otherwise notified in writing.
All LightForm orders are delivered as “curbside delivery.”
If you wish to have your order shipped to an address outside of Canada or the Continental United States, please call us or email InternationalOrders@lightform.ca for shipping estimates. If you are located outside Canada or the Continental USA, please contact us to place your order. International customers may be responsible for additional duties, brokerage, local taxes, and local certifications.
Delivery - Requirements for Receiving Your Goods
- Upon delivery, the buyer must count the number of packages: if the number of packages does not match with the delivery note, write “INCOMPLETE DELIVERY. [X] PACKAGES MISSING” on the delivery bill.
- Examine packaging for signs of damage. If there is a sign of damage to the exterior of the packaging, you have two options:
- Check the status of the product immediately and if there are damages, refuse the delivery, by writing “DAMAGED PACKAGING. NOT ACCEPTED”.
- If you do not have time to check the status of the product immediately, you can accept it but must write on the delivery note “DAMAGED PACKAGING. REVISION PENDING.”
- If there are no signs of damage, but the person receiving the goods does not have time to check the status of the products, please write on the delivery note “REVISION PENDING”. By writing this, the buyer has twenty-four (24) hours to check the quality of the products. If there are any problems with the products, please email LightForm within twenty-four (24) hours (CustomerService@lightform.ca) and include any related invoice numbers or delivery notes so that LightForm can investigate as soon as possible.
LightForm sources most of its products direct from international suppliers to bring you the best prices. Our objective is to minimize the distance between the manufacturer and you, the end user. As a result most of our products are Special Order, and not in stock in our stores, meaning they ship directly to you from the factories/workshops/ateliers from around the world and most are made-to-order. Special Order products are not eligible for return or exchange. Special Order items are marked as such on their product webpage under the Special Order tab or on your Quote and Sales Order Confirmation.
LightForm, as a supplier of lighting fixtures and accessories, hereby clarifies that we do not assume responsibility for any on-site or off-site electrical installation, servicing, or consulting related to the lighting fixtures that we sell. Our scope of responsibility is strictly limited to the provision of lighting products and accessories. All electrical installation, servicing, or consulting activities must be arranged and managed independently by qualified professionals or entities.

- Special Orders
- Custom Orders (products our manufacturers don’t carry in stock, custom configured products, or colours not typically stocked)
- Large orders (single fixtures over $5,000, orders totalling over $5,000 on multiple quantities of the same fixture)
- Products certified in-house by LightForm
- Any Sale, Clearance, Open Box, Overstock, and Promotion items
- Any product that has been modified, installed, or used in any way after delivery (including cut, clipped, or stripped wires)
- Items not in resalable condition or items missing the original packaging
- Items not purchased through LightForm
- Items not purchased by the original customer (we require the original purchase receipt)
- Large quantities of the same product (6 or more)
Product purchased online through LightFormShop.com cannot be returned to a LightForm showroom.
If you have been sent an RMA by LightForm Customer Service team it is only valid for 30 days after the date issued.
Unfortunately, it is a reality that fragile items are sometimes damaged in shipping. We ask that you inspect all items individually once they arrive so that any damage claims can be made immediately.
If your item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the item(s). We will also request that you provide photos of any damaged product as well as the product packaging. Please contact our Customer Service Team (CustomerService@lightform.ca) and we will be happy to replace the item or send replacement parts as soon as possible. In some instances, it is possible to repair damages and/or defects with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to use this as a solution.
If your product has arrived damaged, DO NOT attempt to install it. A damaged item cannot be claimed if it shows signs of installation. Once installed, items cannot be returned, regardless of damage.
Once LightForm receives your claim, we will file a claim with the shipper. The shipper in most cases will require the product and packing to be intact and ready for pick up. We ask for your assistance in the process by ensuring the goods are prepared for the shipper to pick up. Please DO NOT discard the damaged item or its packaging.
Please keep in mind that defective goods (those with factory defects, missing parts or other problems originating prior to shipment) are handled differently than damaged goods (which are damaged in shipping). We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that quality production and inspection procedures are in place, but sometimes defects do occur. We work with you to resolve these issues.
In the event the products are defective when delivered, you must notify LightForm in writing with photographic evidence within 24 hours of the date of delivery. Please DO NOT discard the defective item or its packaging and DO NOT attempt to install it if it is visibly defective. In some instances it is possible to repair damages and/or defects with replacement parts. When this is the case, we reserve the right to use this as a solution.
If LightForm inspection supports the claim that the product is defective, LightForm’s liability is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product only. In no event shall LightForm be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including, without limitation, damage to other property and equipment, loss of profits, or compensation for services or delays on site.
LightForm is an authorized reseller of the manufacturers on our site. Every manufacturer will warranty their products for a period of time. LightForm does not carry its own warranty but relies on manufacturers' warranties. During the manufacturer's posted warranty period, LightForm will support you by helping coordinate the resolution of any warranty issues, or connect you directly with the manufacturer to assist in resolving any claims. During this warranty period, most manufacturers will repair or replace, at their option, products or parts that are proven to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damages resulting from accident, alteration, tampering, misuse, negligence, or abuse.
Warranty does not apply to light bulbs. If supplied, light bulbs are provided by LightForm or the manufacturer only as an accommodation.
LightForm endeavours to present all information available to us as accurately as possible, but we are unable to guarantee that LightFormSHOP.com is error-free or that the information with which we have been provided is entirely current and accurate. LightForm presents LightFormSHOP.com as the product of our best efforts and we encourage our customers to reach out and contact us through chat or email if they find information they believe to be inaccurate or if they intend to rely particularly upon any representations made on LightFormSHOP.com.
Product Availability & Descriptions
Although we do our best to ensure accuracy and to provide the most convenient and informative buying experience possible, the availability of products and their various finishes and typologies may change at any time. We do our best to keep up with stock availability, but product descriptions and photos may reference typologies and finishes that are no longer available.
Further, please be aware that all lead times offered are offered as estimates for your convenience only. As we work with many international suppliers, unforeseen delays can and do happen. In the event of a delay we will notify you so that you have the best information available, allowing you to continue to plan your project efficiently. LightForm accepts no liability for losses arising from production or shipping delays.
Images shown on the website may not accurately reflect the North American version of the product. Most manufacturers will need to alter small details of the fixture to meet North American certification requirements, including mounting and back plates, dimmers, driver boxes, etc. These alternations are not considered deficiencies or defects. We do our best to include images of these North American alterations whenever possible, however, LightForm is not responsible for these differences between the website images and product altered to meet North American certification requirements.
Account Registration & Maintenance
By creating an account on LightFormSHOP.com, you agree to permit LightForm to collect, store, and use your personal information in the course of conducting business with you. You agree that it is your responsibility to keep all information provided to LightForm as up-to-date and accurate as possible. LightForm reserves the right to deactivate any accounts that fail to maintain accurate contact information.
LightForm agrees to take all reasonable and necessary measures to secure and protect users' information. In the event of a data breach, LightForm agrees to notify users of same and to take all reasonable and necessary to resecure and protect all data in our possession. LightForm accepts no liability for damages arising from a data breach.
LightForm will not share your information with any third party or agency not directly involved in the transactions you initiate through orders made with LightForm, excepting, of course, in conjunction with a lawful order or direction made by the Court to share your information in conjunction with a law enforcement investigation or legal proceeding.

User Content Release
In the course of your relationship with LightForm, you may provide us with content (including, but not limited to, text, photos, and audio and video recordings), whether at our request or on your own initiative.
