The precise interplay of soft, fluid contours with clear, defined lines represented in the Flindt wall sconce was achieved through multiple software, 3D printing, and metal casting stages before the final aluminium form was achieved. The Flindt wall sconce distinguishes itself by illuminating from a light ingress within a lithe hooded overhang that blends seamlessly into the sides of the shade as the inner contour flows from concave to convex. The convex lower shade, then, reflects the light from above outwards, illuminating your space. The ovular shade is lifted from the mounting surface, making Flindt wall light almost appear to float in space, an effect further enhanced by the understated spray of upward light created by a small opening in the rear of the hood.
