Description

The ‘t’ designation in this variation on the 38V refers to its use as a table light. The table light has a 2290mm (90”) long flexible cable with dial control for on/off/dimming. There is notch on the back of the pendant base and dial control for wall mounting.

38V is a variant of the original 38 series where a large glass sphere is blown with a multitude of haphazard interior cavities, which intersect and collide in unpredictable ways. 38V is smaller, lighter and suspended with coaxial cables. The interior cavities can be filled with plants or left empty.

Standard 38V are made with clear glass exterior spheres and milk white interior lamp holder cavities.

Setareh 4401 Table

This is the name of the family of lighting fixtures that Francesco Librizzi, a young Sicilian architect working in Milan, has designed for the first time for FontanaArte. Setareh was born of the idea of giving form to light. The lamp is composed of a sphere in hand-blown white satin glass, magically suspended within a thin metal structure. The play of circular masses and trajectories generates a balanced design of gravitational dynamics. The light from the sphere is diffused into the surrounding space, illuminating the frame. The reflections of the metal render the luminous field visible, space influenced by light, by its aura. The result is a collection of lighting elements, available in tabletop and suspension versions, of extraordinary poetic grace. The ‘t’ designation in this variation on the 84 refers to its use as a table light. The table light has a 2350mm (72”) long flexible cable with dial control for on/off/dimming. There is notch on the back of the pendant base and dial control for wall mounting. A white glass bubble is captured inside a fi ne copper mesh basket and then plunged into hot clear glass. Air is blown into the matrix to gently push the white glass through the mesh, creating a delicate pillowed form that is suspended inside the thick outer layer of clear glass.
