Description

Part of the popular Glo-Ball Series, the Glo-Ball Basic Zero was created in 1998 by artist Jasper Morrison to invoke the radiant calm of a full moon. This unique table lamp has a white acid-etched glass diffuser and a base that is 30% fiberglass reinforced injection-molded polyamide (UL-94 V2). The die-cast aluminum diffuser support is painted gray.

Buds 2 Table

In the 1990s, Rodolfo Dordoni designed a collection of table, floor and suspension lamps for Foscarini in brightly coloured blown glass, named after the nstural elements: Fruits, Blossom and Buds. Today, Buds has been restyled again, interpreting contemporary taste with a sophisticated wealth and focus on materials. The star of the design remains blown-glass, with a five-layer hand-crafted process, which is immediately evident thanks to the larger cut of the diffuser. With the new rangfe of colours - cold brown, cold grey, bamboo green and white, with a straw-yellow internal finish - Buds takes on a dual value: it is warm when the lamp is on and cold when off. Blom Table

Blom is a small table lamp by Andreas Engesvik, a Norwegian designer who has made a name for himself on the international scene thanks to his ability to instil emotions, appeal and ideas into everyday objects. Taking up very little space, just 24 cm tall with a diameter of 15 cm, Blom is a light, fun lamp that is easy to pick up and move and suitable for any purpose. Its name, a contraction of the word blomst, which in Norwegian means flower, is inspired by its petal shaped blades. Intensity can be adjusted thanks to the two petals that gently embrace the diffuser, rotating on the base to shield the glare depending on personal requirements: with the petals aligned the lamp emits maximum light. The compact fluorescent bulb guarantees good effective lighting with low energy consumption. The ‘t’ designation in this variation on the 38V refers to its use as a table light. The table light has a 2290mm (90”) long flexible cable with dial control for on/off/dimming. There is notch on the back of the pendant base and dial control for wall mounting. 38V is a variant of the original 38 series where a large glass sphere is blown with a multitude of haphazard interior cavities, which intersect and collide in unpredictable ways. 38V is smaller, lighter and suspended with coaxial cables. Pinecone Table

Pinecone is a pendant and table lamp mounting a blown glass diffuser, available in the glossy transparent or milky white acid-etched version. The diffuser is manufactured using the ancient caged blown glass technique: the glass maker blows the molten glass blob into a metal cage, which only partly contains the blob's natural expansion. In this way, the glass surface is partly trapped by and partly escapes the cage, generating an impression of tension as the object struggles to free itself from its harness; the cage is further enriched by the galvanic treatment that makes it look polished and brilliant. The transparent version, in particular, reveals a two-fold structure that multiplies the scenic effect, while the metal cage pattern projects kaleidoscopic shade effects on the surrounding surfaces. On the contrary, in the white version the glass delicately envelops the cage surface and enhances its geometric pattern, generating an elegant and visually pleasing diffuse light.
