Fashioned into graceful shapes, Delphinium evokes an almost secret longing for times bygone, but with a playful hint of sensuality. The tough masculinity of the steel in contrast with the feminine forms make this lighting sculpture universally appreciated, adding character to both stately and contemporary interiors. Delphinium Suspension Conical


Sultans of Swing Suspension Conical

Embracing both the past and present, Sultans of Swing combines imperial elegance with the sheer pleasure of blowing new life into long-standing shapes and forms. This collection was originally inspired by the contrast of a Dutch river landscape surrounding a contemporary house. Only water and air were visible; a boat sat anchored by a huge twist of rope. Inside the home, classical elements were in abundance, like heavy velvet curtains with tasselled embellishments. The details and atmosphere of the surroundings were translated into a contemporary lighting sculpture - and thus Sultans of Swing was born. Available as a single element, linear, conical, oval, or round chandelier, and in a variety of sizes, the twists of rope and illuminated tassels on each suspension light are handcrafted from steel in a modern nickel finish. Due to its aesthetic values, Sultans of Swing performs well in both classic and contemporary interiors, especially in grand dining rooms and entryways. Created and produced by Lee Broom, the hand blown glass bulbs contain a perpendicular LED filament which refracts against the vertical lines of the reeded glass. En masse and reflecting in the rings, the overall effect ensues a glowing aura. Aurora is a scalable chandelier in which rings ranging from a 32cm to a 109cm diameter can be installed individually or connected together to create a tailored chandelier.
