Experiment, dare, innovate. These are Karman’s mandates as they create exciting new lighting collections ideal for both hospitality and residential spaces. In Karman’s world, lighting is both personal and functional; each lamp has something to say--its goals: to excite and to create emotion as well as to illuminate.
From endearing animal-inspired wall sconces to bathroom-specific pendants and floor lamps, Karman’s collections tease out the expressive values of concrete, glass, ceramic, metal, and stoneware to create new, refreshing languages for familiar materials.
Designers will love Karman’s large-scale luminous pendants and clustered glass chandeliers for their potential in restaurants and hotels. Homeowners will be inspired to express their unique style with Karman’s subtly detailed flower pendants, floating candelabras, or elegant fibreglass and lace lanterns. Karman’s outdoor lighting collection truly shines for its suggestive new ways to illuminate outdoor spaces.
In Karman’s world, each light arouses a smile and incites curiosity, bringing you the ability to dress up your surroundings and consider them from a new perspective.
A project originating with the intention of making two different worlds – of technical lighting and decorative lighting – “fall in love”, and live in perfect harmony. This has given rise to Cupido, a long, minimal bar of led light piercing a fabric lampshade.
The cat appears to jump out of the wall or from the table, and playfully tease the mouse with its paws inside the luminous sphere. Composed of two elements, a cat body made of matt white ceramic and charcoal black ceramic a glass sphere with mouse-shaped inner sticker, MAOO can be hung on a wall or placed on a desk, bedside table, or table top. MAOO joins Karman Zoo, the famous collection of ceramic lamps designed by Matteo Ugolini and inspired by the animal world.
Like precious jewels adorning a woman’s neck, these modular and flexible light elements decorates the room. The lamps in this collection alternate between cylindrical bars and small spheres of anodized bronze or black aluminum, arranged like pearls in a ring on a wire supporting LEDs encased in a transparent, flexible silicone tube.
Customizable to the space to be illuminated, Leda is a cohesive and decorative chain that surrounds a universal symbol and alludes to the charming idea of the circle as a symbol of elegance and beauty. Installable in any direction, Leda can be used indoors or outdoors as a suspension, floor lamp, or system lighting to decorate and illuminate elegant rooms, porches, gardens and terraces. The small metal loop also allow for flexible layout and shape changes.
Sweet and clear is the night and without wind, and it lays the moon over the roofs and in the orchards, and in the distance reveals every mountain serene. (Giacomo Leopardi)
A play on words ... From Stante, present participle of the verb Stare. It is what is, what remains while everything changes, evolves, involves. Clean geometric shapes and sophisticated technology. Bearing bars that recall the engineering structures of the past. Modular electrified structures that allow the insertion of lighting bodies (blown glass spheres and spot modules) in quantity and free arrangement, without the use of electric power cables. Maximum freedom of expression.
Inspired by the evocative, changing phases of the moon and borrowing the name Triluna from esoteric vocabulary, designer duo Debonademeo has created a family of pendant lights that, based on the sphere and its derivations, offers modules that can be combined in three different ways. Like the Moon, which in every one of its phases shows - or conceals - aspects of itself, the pendant lamp Triluna can be composed using two or three elements, all derived from the sphere and all concealing their light source on the inside, shielded by frosted white glass diffusers that concentrate the main direct flow and diffusing its soft light effects upwards. Made in matt white aluminium, available in three different configurations.
A circular shaped, mouthblown, thick glass spot, transparent or satin-finished. Agua can be used as a table or wall lamp to createa a halo on a wall or other reflective surface. The base is in black anodized aluminum with an internal cap diffuser to protect the LED light source. It can be placed in geometric or random patterns, as a one-point light on a side table, or in a hidden corner of the house or garden.
