Sometimes, in a wistful mood, it's nice to imagine that the Moon is shining just for you; with Moon 60 dual emission suspension light, it is. By taking the original Moon pendant design and adding a small aperture at the bottom, Davide Groppi creates a moonbeam of light, offering a spot feature effect in addition to Moon's customary placid glow. As ever, the LED within is dimmable, giving you the control over how present your Moon pendant and its beam are. This additional downlight makes Moon 60 Dual Emission great for illuminating dining rooms or work surfaces.

Knot Sfera Suspension

Knot is a collection of stately pendant lights that appose two dramatically dissimilar materials. The design combines coarse natural fibre with smooth, transparent blown glass to arouse a contrast as striking as it is dignified. Full-bodied globes of varying shapes and sizes are penetrated by robust cords that seemingly pull the bottom of the glass inward for a bemusing plastic effect. The LED light source is housed in a handsome top hood, which, like the cord end cap, is fashioned in refined metal. The new Charlotte Globe suspension recreates the laborious patterns and impalpable elements of honeycomb, enclosed in a welcoming sphere. Charlotte globe is crafted of Cristalflex, with an internal structure in Lentiflex that diffuses the light, and is equipped with our unique magnetic system. The sphere has the same profound, concentric geometry that defines the rest of Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas’ collection. A combined electrical and hanging wire adds to the lamp’s ethereal personality, and 4 light sources change in intensity and temperature depending on selected bulbs. “In typical Jaime Hayon style, these Paper Lanterns challenge convention,” notes &tradition Brand Manager Martin Kornbek Hansen. “Seen in an ultra light pendant lamp of rice paper, echoing ancient lanterns from Asia - reinvented in a modern aesthetic.” Dating back centuries, paper lanterns have featured in Asia amongst the privileged and the poor, where different colours, shapes and sizes connote different meanings. Here Hayon has dispensed with cultural formalities to create a series of lanterns all in white. Hand crafted with rice paper merging various sizes and shapes together. “Lamps play such an important role in people’s lives,” explains Hayon. “For some cultures, they chase away the darkness by bringing hope. I’ve tried to keep this emotional angle about light – in a lamp that also appears light. By making the bottom part of the lamp open, the idea is to bring even more illumination to people everywhere in the world.” The Paper Lantern series is comprised of three different versions in ivory white rice paper with black stained oak accents in sizes from 46 cm in diameter to 70 cm. The Nelson Orbit Bubble Pendant has a striking presence with its recognizable but inimitable shape. This sculptural pendant light comes in two sizes and has a unique steel understructure. It also includes a ceiling plate and a 10-foot cord. Inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps, George Nelson designed the series in 1952, featuring organic, elemental shapes like a rounded apple, an elongated cigar, and a shapely pear.
