One of the core genres of suspension light, chandeliers have grown difficult to define in recent years. Originally, a typical premium chandelier referenced Rococo-inspired collections of multiple lights in a single, usually-sprawling, hanging light fixture. And, indeed, as many Masiero and Baccarat chandelier lighting fixtures prove, these designs are as popular as ever.

But, as we've approached the modern day, chandelier lighting solutions have expanded to include suspension lights such as the modernist Astro Mobile family from Stuff by Andrew Neyer, the frenetic energy of Brand van Egmond's collections, the austere order of the Aria family from Slamp, and the opulent minimalism of Davide Groppi's ChainDelier.
