Beginning with the suggestion of a fishing rod, Enzo Calabrese and Davide Groppi designed Sampei outdoor floor light to evoke a sense of grace. Though its durable stalk is in a state of constant tension, Sampei remains flexible and bends with the wind rather than fighting it. At 440cm, Sampei 440 Outdoor towers over even the tallest person, but its integrated LED lamp is powerful enough to create an intimate cocoon of light around your outdoor terrace, poolside, restaurant cafe, or outdoor dining area. Sampei's height, combined with its slender fibreglass and metal structure, allows Sampei floor light to stand almost imperceptibly within a space, carving shadow with light--drawing strength from below, illuminating from above.
