Bell Suspension

The expression of the Bell pendant lamp is robust, the form is simple. With its industrial, yet friendly look this directional lamp is ideal for both home decors and professional environments. The designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck have taken their starting point for the design in the iconic shape of a bell. The lamp's rounded silhouette and matt surface give it the impression of having been cast. The white inner side reflects the light, which falls like a cone and provides practical lighting for several purposes.The designers have payed special attention to the details, emphasizing the gathering point between the cord and the lamp itself in a contemporary way. The tactile differences between the materials create a clean, minimalistic look. The smooth aluminum against the soft rubber creates a discrete but impactful play of materials, giving life to the design. Bell fits beautifully in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, hallway and office environment. Hang a mix of sizes in a cluster, and achieve a dramatic visual effect, use a large Bell over the dinner table, or hang the small ones in pairs in the kitchen. Skygarden S2 Suspension

Imagine a stunning display blooming above you: Created by Marcel Wanders, the Skygarden S is just that. A gracefully hanging hemisphere, the pendant lamp makes a powerful impression with its sheer size. However, it is the inner diffuser in white painted cast plaster that steals the show. Standing beneath it, you will see the intricate design that gives this piece its name. The Skygarden’s plaster diffuser support is die-cast aluminum alloy. Its upper cable gland and blocking ring nut come in black injection-molded PC (polycarbonate). Shaped adjustment screws are included. The upper and lower silicone shock absorbers are injection-molded and transparent. The lamp-holder and fixing support come in PPS. The diffuser is flashed and blown opal glass. The molded fixing ring nut is die-cast aluminum alloy with alodine plating. The frieze is photo-etched and mechanically drawn AISI 304 steel. The ceiling attachment is molded and galvanized steel ceiling attachment. It has a gray, injection-molded PA6 (Nylon) rose, steel wire, and a FEP/SIL UV-stabilized transparent power cord. Same year, Stanley Kubrick pictured the future of the year 2001, featuring the Verner Panton Chair, and man was soon to set foot on the moon. In the world of design, a colourful, playful pendant hung in restaurants and exhibitions, and very soon, in everybody’s homes. 1965 Suspension

The 1965 Pendant was originally designed by Paavo Tynell in 1947. Like many of his bestknown designs, the pendant was designed for the Finland House in New York - one of the most ambitious and successful projects of all time to showcase Finnish design. Perfecting the techniques of metal finishes, Tynell developed the 1965 Pendant with his exceptional ability to capture and translate a grace and exuberant lightness into his brass creations. Characterized by its triangular perforation pattern, an artistic detail utilised by Tynell in several of his lighting objects, the 1965 Pendant reflects the distinguished craftsmanship of the Finnish designer. G-10 Suspension

Designed in the 1950’s by Greta M. Grossman, the G-10 Pendant is another of her undiscovered designs. The pendant is characterised by its industrial look with a rough surfaced lampshade and clean lines, but at the same time holds a soft, feminine and elegant silhouette - which to some draw associations to a woman’s hat that adorned the streets in the 50’s. Always with a twist of humour, Grossman’s design encourages for playful and experimental installations in pairs or clusters. However, the pendant looks great as a single feature over a dining table as well. The G-10 lamp was produced, as many of Grossman's other work, in both America and her native Sweden, where this collection draws its features after the Swedish version. The lamp was Greta M. They are named after P.G. Wodehouse's two iconic characters: Wooster, the jovial but empty-headed young gentleman, and Jeeves, his improbably well-informed and talented valet. Wooster is therefore the top hat, a symbol of aristocracy and well-to-do society, and Jeeves, the practical, well-rounded bowler.
