The A110 Pendant lamp was designed for the building of the Finnish Engineers' Association (Alvar Aalto 1948 - 1953). The lamp's beauty is based on its shape which is extremely simple. The lamp is formed by two cylinders, one inside the other, and the light is reflected upwards. As a nice detail, the lamp has a perforated steel ring through which the light is diffused, reflecting downwards. The same model was used in the Council Chamber of Säynätsalo Town Hall (Alvar Aalto 1949 - 1952).
