Foscarini’s new Hoba lighting collection, crafted by renowned designers Ludovica & Roberto Palomba, brings an artful, otherworldly touch to interiors. Inspired by the irregular form of the Hoba meteorite discovered in Namibia, the collection includes a suspension light, table light, and multiple wall and ceiling options. Each piece in the collection is made from mouth-blown, acid-etched opaline glass, using a unique technique that doesn’t rotate the glass within an open mold. This process results in subtle variations across each fixture, capturing the artistry of hand-blown glass while allowing for serial production. Emitting a warm, embracing light, Hoba’s organic forms bring a touch of natural beauty, whether used individually or as a series, making it a versatile choice for creating cohesion in any design scheme.
