LucidiPevere is a partnership between two Italian designers, Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere.

Paolo and Luca were both born in the province of Udine, and met at Politecnico di Milano, where they both studied Industrial Design. After graduation, Paolo worked at the studio founded by Piero Lissoni, and later, collaborated with designer Marc Sadler. Luca, meanwhile, began his professional career with the Italian artist Clino Trini Castelli.

In 2003, Paolo and Luca began to collaborate on various design projects, and in 2006, the LucidiPevere studio was established in Udine. Paolo and Luca are known for using unusual techniques and aesthetic means to develop new forms and products, such as lamps, furniture, and accessories.

“Our projects are usually sparked by an intuition, a material, a process, a clever artisan, or business man. By lots of things, ” they explain. “In most cases, though, we start with a technology, with trying to express a material in the best possible way without pushing it too far, without trying to make it do things it wasn’t born to do. ”

Some of the brands that LucidiPevere work with include De Padova, Zanotta, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Agape, Ligne Roset, Foscarini, Kristalia, Living Divani, Normann Copenhagen, Very Wood, Emu, Casamania, DeCastelli, La Cividina, and Teracrea.

Their products have appeared in major museums worldwide, and have won several major awards including the Designpreis Deutschland, a Red Dot Design Award, a Good Design Award, and Compasso d’Oro Honourable Mentions.

Aplomb Wall

Made of rough concrete, the Aplomb wall lamp is characterized by an oblique movement of thediffuser which merges into and dialogues with its supporting structure, allowing for wider ranging light diffusion. The beam of light directed upwards is reflected onto the walls and ceiling, lighting up the room without ever dazzling. The more delicate beam of light directed downwards, by contrast, creates a sophisticated interplay of light on the walls. Aplomb wall lamp is available in grey, white and brown. Aplomb Large Suspension

Hanging lamp in concrete offered in three, coloured finishes which celebrate its personality, bringing together different styles, from the traditional grey of cement in its raw state, which adds depth to the volumes, to a stylish white hue, and a warm intense brown. Perfect for occasional tables, peninsulas and counters, either on its own or in a group.LED technology now meets the textured and contemporary charm of concrete, in a new version of the Aplomb suspension lamp. Arumi Suspension

Arumi reflects Foscarini's ability to transform an industrial object made in die-cast aluminium alloy, into a finely crafted artefact, thanks to careful manual polishing of the inner surface and the outer border, joined by the handcrafted irregular finish of all the outer surfaces and the three reliefs that bring rhythm to the piece. Arumi embodies elegant, precious contrasts, making it beautiful even when not in use. When it is turned on, the luminous part has been designed to be gentle with the eyes of the observer, efficient but also soft in its light emission, to enhance the elegance of the polished internal part. The light flow of a dimmable LED of the latest generation is transmitted inside a very pure transparent cylinder that terminates in a detail specifically designed to project the beam onto the polished inner walls. Thanks to this feature, the light sources, shielded from view, projects the light downwards and onto the inner surfaces, enhancing the craftsmanship and emphasizing the diversity of every single lamp.
