Analogia Projects
“Light gives life to things.”
Founded in 2011, Analogia Project is a collaboration between designer Andrea Mancuso and architect Emilia Serra. After studying in Italy, Andrea and Emilia met at London’s Royal College of Art in 2010.
“Being male and female, designer and architect, practical and abstract, minimalistic and whimsical, we perceive things from different perspectives, ” they explain.
Their design approach is based on “exploring everydayness and turning it into wonderment. ” Focusing on object are normally taken for granted, “they use everyday space and objects as a source of inspiration, wonder and surprise. ”
Their methodology is experimental and based on the conservation and development of traditional craftsmanship skills combined with contemporary digital technologies. Their works, whether installations, products, or interiors, have a strong narrative connotation — each project provides an opportunity to tell a new story.
Analogia Project’s work has been published worldwide, and exhibited at design fairs around the world. They have collaborated with a long list of clients, including 19 Greek Street, Be Open foundation, Bulgari, Camp Design Gallery, Design Blok CZ, Design Days Dubai, Driade, Etro, Fendi, Frag, F. lli Boffi, andhttps://www. youtube. com/watch?v=y3QBuR3TgUM Hermes.
