With Le Sfere Plafone, Model 2042/3 from 1963, another of Gino Sarfatti’s beautiful interpretations of the luminous sphere is reintroduced. The refined ceiling light is composed of three blown opaline glass spheres supported by a painted steel mount and structure. Each sphere measures 20 cm in diameter and is gently held in place by the painted steel ring in a refined embrace that lends the luminaire a graphic expression and brings forth Le Sfere’s distinctive aesthetic.
