This collection was originally inspired by the contrast of a Dutch river landscape surrounding a contemporary house. Only water and air were visible; a boat sat anchored by a huge twist of rope. Inside the home, classical elements were in abundance, like heavy velvet curtains with tasselled embellishments. The details and atmosphere of the surroundings were translated into a contemporary lighting sculpture - and thus Sultans of Swing was born.
