At its core, up-and-coming designer lighting brand Two Parts is very simple: it's a way for its founder, architect and designer Christo Logan, to "support his design habit." Fortunately for design professionals and enthusiasts alike, that habit takes the form of an endless pursuit of ever-greater innovation and creativity.
Two Parts began in Logan's New York apartment in 2016, the result of extensive experimentation with 3D-printed ceramic, creating custom lighting fixtures for a colleague. He continued to produce these astounding designs as a boutique manufacturer, earning a Good Design award–and several others–along the way, until he could no longer keep up with the increasing demand. For two and a half years, Christo Logan worked with some of the most skilled manufacturers in the business to cast shapes that he had specifically designed to be uncastable.
Then, in 2019, years of research, innovation, and ingenuity paid off with the release of Two Parts' second-generation lights: six essential, intriguing, and beautiful designer lights cast in premium polymers. And, as an architect himself, Logan ensured that they were engineered to empower lighting designers to flex their creative muscles building custom installations, whether for a residential kitchen or an upscale office boardroom.
