Bomma: Blown Away in Prague
EVENTS
Team LightForm’s European design excursion wrapped with a visit to the Bomma factory in Světlá, Czech Republic, where our team witnessed true artistry in motion. While Italian glass often leans on heritage and tradition, Bomma pushes boundaries with contemporary flair.

Their process-driven innovation was thrilling to see firsthand. Amy came away with a new appreciation for their fearless design and approachable attitude. “They’re really pushing boundaries,” she says. “They’re introducing ideas that are refreshing and cool.”
Jaime noted how refreshing it was to slow down in the Czech Republic after the whirlwind of Milan. “The energy was definitely more laid back,” she shared. “We got to meet non-competing dealers from the U.S., tour the glass factory, and even watched the all-women team doing Bomma’s meticulous quality control.” One highlight? Watching the Czech glassmasters make the oversized glass elements for the Tim Pendants, named after Tim Burton, an impressive display of craftsmanship.

Team LightForm was also treated to a beautiful evening at Bomma’s Prague atelier, where they explored their collections styled throughout the showroom and experienced true Czech hospitality over a delicious dinner. It was the perfect end to the trip, celebrating craftsmanship, innovation, and connection.
