Tekiò Vertical

Tekiò Horizontal

Tekiò Horizontal is an elegant solution for illuminating flat surfaces, such as a table or a desk. It is also perfect for drawing pathways and lighting up large open spaces. This adaptable light source makes it possible to set the right ambiance for every situation. It can be configured from one to four modules, making it suitable for diverse uses, from boardroom tables to dining rooms.

Tekiò Circular

Tekiò Circular is a visually striking lighting option that is available in small or medium circles, as well as a large oval. Made in Japan

But what makes Tekiò truly special is the material it's made from. Washi paper has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO and sourced from Mito, a Japanese city specializing in washi production. This resistant, ductile, and malleable material gives the light texture, creating places for pause and subtle sophistication to the spaces it inhabits.

About the Designer: Anthony Dickens

Anthony Dickens, the designer behind Tekiò, founded his product and furniture design studio in London in 1998. Dickens initially designed and manufactured his own creations, learning to create innovative and functional objects that questioned everyday life around him. In 2010, he travelled to Japan to get to know the country and its rich culture. Inspired by Japanese designs from the 10th century, Dickens created the Tekiò lamp, which went on to win the 2018 ADI-FAD Golden Delta award for the best interior lighting product.
