Bios has two layers of Opalflex, both with carefully selected incisions that let the light shine through, creating suggestive reflections and shadows. ABC Table

The ABC Table Lamp is designed by Joaquim Ruiz Millet as a tribute to Barba Corsini and his original PD2 Floor Lamp, created specifically for the famous landmark La Pedrera in 1955. As the designs for La Pedrera, the ABC lamp is inspired by Corsini's powerful yet simple design style and his inspiration from the buildings sculptural structures. Millet has created a smaller version of the original lamp design with an understated elegance and meticulous craftsmanship, which brings about new opportunities and applications to the use of the lamp - while maintaining the expression of legendary Barba Corsini. Barba Corsini was in 1955 assigned to remodel the attics of the prominent Antoni Gaudí landmark La Pedrera. Used as a laundry room and a storage area, Corsini transformed the space into 13 modern apartments. To complete the architectural experience, Corsini specifically designed and decorated the apartments with his own designs, inspired by the characteristic appearance of the building. In 1991, it was decided that the loft space of La Pedrera should be restored according to the original conception of Gaudí. The interior made by Corsini was torn down and most of it thrown away. During the renovation the architect and gallerist, Joaquim Ruiz Millet, discovered the PD2 Floor Lamp and saved it from being thrown in the trash. Ruiz Millet started to collaborate with Corsini and his designs, and recreated the original pieces, specifically in order to help rescuing his work, make it more known and available for the public. ABC Table


Blom Table

Blom is a small table lamp by Andreas Engesvik, a Norwegian designer who has made a name for himself on the international scene thanks to his ability to instil emotions, appeal and ideas into everyday objects. Taking up very little space, just 24 cm tall with a diameter of 15 cm, Blom is a light, fun lamp that is easy to pick up and move and suitable for any purpose. Its name, a contraction of the word blomst, which in Norwegian means flower, is inspired by its petal shaped blades. Intensity can be adjusted thanks to the two petals that gently embrace the diffuser, rotating on the base to shield the glare depending on personal requirements: with the petals aligned the lamp emits maximum light. The compact fluorescent bulb guarantees good effective lighting with low energy consumption. The metal base ensures stability for the lamp and when lit, the polycarbonate petals maintain a temperature that permits touching without the risk of burns. Asa Table

In 1961 this lamp was part of Miguel Milá’s first collection for TRAMO, the company he founded to produce his own work in post-war Spain. He dabbled in a profession that he would later go on to master, that of a pre-industrial designer, as he likes to introduce himself. Milá’s pieces, and the names he gives them, have an incredible depth that lies beneath their simplicity. Asa is built of a single, continuous tube. Lightweight, yet robust, the handle-shaped structure makes it easy to carry everywhere.
