Renowned worldwide for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and vision, Studio Piet Boon creates distinguished designs. Founded in 1983 by Dutch designer Piet Boon, the Studio Piet Boon philosophy is based on a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and individuality.

In 1986, celebrated Dutch interior designer Karin Meyn joined as business partner and creative director. Since its inception, the studio has acquired an impressive portfolio of private, corporate, and commercial clients in 46 countries around the world. Its headquarters are in Oostzaan, Amsterdam area, the Netherlands.

Piet Boon Studio collaborates with selected brand association partners, like Land Rover, Miele, and Bang & Olufsen among others. The studio has licensing agreements with 11 partners, including Moooi, Formani, Bod’or, and Warendorf. It has also published three successful monographs, which show the rapid international development of the design studio into an international luxury lifestyle brand.

Piet began his career as a building contractor which affords him a privileged insight into the design and implementation of every project he undertakes. By taking ownership of a total concept, Boon is able to realize his true vision.

Karin has played an integral role in defining the acclaimed Studio Piet Boon philosophy and style. With a refined sense of color, material and form — and an eye for one-of-a-kind objects, art and home accessories — Karin lends her distinctive personal touch to every project she undertakes.
